Pastor Travis' Blog
Travis graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, CA with a B.A. in Speech Communications and Marketing along with a certificate in Ministry. After graduating, he marketed for Volvo Cars of North America until he finally responded to the God’s Call for him to be a pastor. He has served in youth and family ministry for eight years in California and Colorado. Travis then served as lead pastor of Arlington Avenue Church in Riverside, CA. He has studied at Denver Theological Seminary, Fuller Theological Seminary and is presently studying at Bethel Theological Seminary in St. Paul, and will be graduating in JUne 2012.
In January of 2009, God brought Travis (and family) and Point of Grace together. He is one lucky guy to have the love of his life, Kim, be his bride of thirteen years. Travis and Kim share life with their three beautiful girls, Mackenna (10), Kate (8), and Bailey (5). Although it is crazy at the Marshall home, they wouldn't have it any other way. Travis believes that he is living in one of the most critical times in history in being real with God, others and himself. He knows without a shadow of a doubt that God has called him to Point to be used by God in something greater than himself.
