Elephant in the Room (1 of 5) - Depression (Travis Marshall - May 15, 2011)

Travis - was just now able to catch up on this sermon series on depression.  Thank you for persevering forward with this topic.  It was absolutely awesome.  So many of us struggle with this, but almost never is it talked about even in the closest circles.  Please know that with this, you will be reaching many who may be entering or are in what can be a very dangerous stage of isolation, are experiencing those many dark nights, and perhaps with listening to this will find the God-given hope that they need to make that first step forward with God right along side them.  I can relate to and agree with every aspect of your sermon content.  For those of us that have chosen the invitation, there is absolutely nothing like it - God-given joy that can only be experienced by experiencing Him in those deep, dark valleys.  As the song says:  "We must go through the valley to stand on the mountain of God."  Thank you so much, Travis, for helping those that struggle with this.  Peace to you!
