What to Expect

Point of Grace is a group of people from all walks of life who are being transformed by Jesus Christ. Every week, we join together to worship God in authentic and creative ways. We seek to experience ultimate truth through hearing and then doing what God has exemplified to humanity through the Bible and Jesus Christ. We are passionate about sharing the love of Christ by caring for others in our larger community. The purpose of Point of Grace is to Know God, Love Each Other and Serve our Community. This is the foundation for everything we do and more importantly who we are. We invite you to journey with us as we share life together in Jesus Christ.

What to expect on Sunday at Point of Grace

Sunday at Point of Grace is simply meant to be a time of connection. Everything revolves around getting and staying connected to God and others in an encouraging and safe atmosphere. Come as you are and please don’t get dressed up for us; we’re a casual church. Point gathers each Sunday at Holmen High School at 1001 McHugh Rd. in Holmen, WI.

Starting at 9:00am the “Café of Grace” is open serving coffee, donuts and juices. This is a great time to connect with others and get information about upcoming opportunities. During this time you will be greeted and introduced through our guest services.Your hosts there will answer any questions, including questions about the Grace Place (birth-6th grade children’s activities).

At 9:25am you will notice that a countdown on the media screen begins indicating that we will be starting in 5 minutes. That is to give everyone time to find a spot at one of the tables and top off their coffee and bread plate before the gathering starts. At 9:30 the band begins to play and lead in atime of worship.  We want you to be comforaable and enjoy yourself so don't worry about anything. Please feel free to sit or stand at any time throughout the gathering. Just because someone else is standing it doesn’t mean you are expected to; we want you to just be yourself—so just relax and enjoy yourself.

Our gathering range from 75 - 90 minutes. After the gathering has concluded, you are more than welcome to stick around and connect with others over a fresh cup of coffee at the Café of Grace.

Anything for Students (6th-12th)?

The youth ministry of Point of Grace Community Church meets weekly on Wednesday’s in homes around the community. There is a middle school group and a high school group.  During these weekly experiences your student will build relationships with their peers, develop accountability and grow together in their relationship with Christ. We encourage students in sixth grade through twelfth grade to get involved. You will find that the passionate youth volunteers are dedicated to connecting the heart of your student to the heart of God. During the Sunday gathering at Point we encourage students to take part in the main service.
